A selection of my projects from recent years:
AI-Assisted Support Ticket & Mailbox Automation System
Tool for efficiently managing support processes with external service providers. Support tickets are automatically created from log entries via the service providers' web forms. Since further communication happens via email, the tool is fully integrated into the shared support mailbox via IMAP and SMTP: incoming messages are automatically assigned to the respective tickets, with status monitoring and a central overview of all open and closed cases. Predefined templates allow responses to be drafted quickly and consistently; an integrated AI assistant supports text creation. Because all actions take place directly in the shared mailbox, the process remains transparent and traceable for all employees.

Knowledge platform for Research & Development
Designed and built an end-to-end support automation engine for a SaaS company, that extracts system log entries, submits support tickets through third-party web forms using Playwright, and synchronizes incoming and outgoing communication through a shared mailbox using IMAP and SMTP. The system automatically associates replies with the correct tickets, tracks resolution status, and combines predefined templates with an integrated AI assistant to generate consistent response drafts — all within the team’s existing mailbox workflow for complete transparency and auditability.

It also featured a database-driven query builder, custom dashboards with extensive analytics capabilities and an interactive data import. The editorial area included a WYSIWYG editor, calendar and file manager functions, as well as far-reaching administration features. The platform was designed for scaling: whitelabel capability for secondary commercialisation, feature flags and a pure frontend demo mode with simulated backend. Complemented by AI-assisted convenience features (including semantic enrichment of the help index), interactive user guidance with guided tours, multilingual support and error monitoring via Sentry. Additionally, consulting on the design of the backend interfaces.
